There were a lots of laugh on this trip with good weather and visibility on our side. The water was deep blue minutes after we got out of the river mouth.
Taking advantage of the good visibility during this time of the year, we tried a new site. There were plenty of lobsters, from babies to juvenile. Schools of parrotfish and fusiliers swam pass us while a school of snapper just watch us from underneath a rock boulder. Anthonia pointed out a scorpionfish to me and we found more later. This was unusual for me as I have been diving here for more than 4 years and this was the first time I saw so many around. There was also one lonely cuttlefish which Foo managed to snap a shot at it.
On our second dive, we went to Front Reef and the colours of the corals luminated by the bright sunlight were just magnificent. I managed to show Foo my latest discovery, a pair of pipefish! They have electric blue body with silver line and a rounded red tail fin. My 'friend' the grouper was also around to greet us which amazed Simon.
Everyone was satisfied with this trip and looking forward more upcoming trips.
