Fiza Salim(Pakistan) and Natasha Joshi(India) find scuba diving to be a very interesting sports and they had been making plans to realise their dream. Taking opportunity of their short holiday, they flew in from Singapore where they had been residing recently to visit Kuching and earn their Open Water Diver rating. The course was indeed very challenging for them but hard work always pay off. Excellent job girls! |

Congratulation to 3 divers who advanced their diving adventure by taking up the PADI Rescue Diver course.
They requested for a tougher training and I made sure they get it. With their newly hard earned skill, they will definitely make our local trips more safe. |

From Haw Kuen (08/01/2009):
From my open water diver until divemaster, Mr. Ernest has always been my first and right choice.
He has been very supportive since the start and even now I am already a certified instructor.
Without Mr. Enest Teo, my dive life is just empty. Thank you for training me well.

Started with Open Water Diver certification a year ago, Ng Haw Kuen worked hard in between time spent with his family and work to get himself certified as a PADI Divemaster recently. He did his DM training in Peninsula Malaysia and finished up in Kota Kinabalu.
In the near future, he hopes to obtain his Instructor rating and would like to write a book on his path to share with readers in Malaysia. |

A lifetime Adventure Starts
The weekend was fun for me and definitely a historical day for two groups of divers. They earned their Open Water rating by completing their final training dive.
Brian's group had been trying to complete it earlier but the weather was not so favourable. We had to turn back on the first trip out as surge was at least 2 feet high.
All of them from both group put in a lot of effort to do well in both their knowledge development and water training. Furthermore, a few had to overcome their own fear of certain skills but they all turned out extra ordinary.
A big applause to them for their great performance. They are now ready to live their new lifestyle. |

Getting Certified On Their Honeymoon
Thomas and Carina waited for months to go for their honeymoon. They selected a few destination but their travel agent in Germany told them it was not a good idea and eventually suggested Malaysia. A stay in the longhouse, spending time at a beach and get certified as scuba diver was what they wanted. They achieve it all.
Excellent job, Thomas and Carina! |

Expanding Their Dive Adventure
To join other divers during night dive, go deeper and visit shipwrecks, Berenice and Daniel took their AOWD course with me recently during our trip to Tenggol Island. They had fun diving while earning their new certification. |

Adventure Filled Course
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
In order to complete 3 more adventure dives to earn their advanced certification, the trio made 6 dives which include diving to 5 wrecks, 30m depth with 3m vis, night dive and face strong current.
This is definitely not a normal course, it was filled with experience! |

Sharon Sagan

Charles Fisk(UK)
|
First for 2008
Sharon Sagan is a sweet young lady and very environment conscious. She puts a lot of effort in mastering her skills.
Charles Fisk gave up his job in UK, travelled half way round the world, to complete his scuba diving certification. He looks forward to do as many dive as possible during his long vacation.
Both of them did a good job during their training and I can see the both of them will be doing a lot of diving in the future. We were also lucky enough to encounter the irrawady dolphins on the way out to see during the last day out. |

Ng(MAL) and Carlo(CAN)
|
Vegetarian meets Krazy Filipino
Talk about different walks of life. Ng only takes one meal a day which is lunch and he only eats rice with vegetables. While for Carlo and me, we just can't live without meat! They both work hard for 3 days, dive during the day and study by night to earn their PADI Open Water Certification. Good job guys!
|
Last Group in Kuching for 2007
They had to battle ZERO vis to complete their final open water due to the start of monsoon season and I had to pull them as close as 1 foot. To my surprise, they were quite calm and did their training skill perfectly but I don't think they notice! |

Wesley, Me, Thomas and Teck |
Rare Occassion
Thomas and Teck are priviledge to have done their course with Wesley whom is has physical challenge.
They share a good time learning how to dive and at the same time, cordinate and manage diving situation among fellow divers.
It was not only an experience for them but for myself too. |
 |
From Shanghai
Amy, a soft spoken young lady who knows how to maximize her time. Taking a vacation before going back to start her new job, she used the opportunity to earn herself a PADI Open Water Diver certification here. Guess where she would be going on her next vacation? Look forward to see her back here soon.

Don't judge a book by it's cover
Mikki showed great determination in achieveing what she set out for. She took her time and tried her best to do it own her own.
On the other hand, I find her to be extremely amuzing to dive with. You think nemo is cute? Try dive with her. |
 |
Mom the Diver
Tony got his PADI certificate a few years back and now it is Elaine's turn. Very soon, it will be a whole family going diving and I cannot wait to dive with them.
Congratulation Elaine for earning your dive certification. It was not only a challenge for you but for me too. |

|
Proud Achievement
A long time dream has just been turned into reality. This is what Norman and Kenny feel when they completed their Open Water course. Deep inside, they now the new journey just started.
Norman said "The only regret I have is... I should have done this long time ago". |
Joe, Maddy, Hannah, Jones and Me.
|
A Handful of Fun
I started the 2007 dive season with lots of fun. Instead of me, these group of medical students from UK showed me a great time during their training. Not forgetting Jones who was a great dive buddy. |
Note: I apologise if I miss out anyone of you.
|
IMPORTANT!!!
As a consumer, please do make sure your Instructor
has a Valid and Renewed Membership with PADI or your course will not be recognised. Second, ensure that all the standards and procedure are followed as this is for your own safe diving benefit and of course, your money worth. |

It is never too late

Nothing can stop a person in achieving what he wants to do except for himself. David had to face the challenge of strong current and bad visibility when doing his open water training with me and he performance was good.
Physical Challenged
Many years back, a fatal road accident left Wesley with only one leg but that never stop him from living a normal life. |
