For the past years, everytime i get a new mask, the features had always been the same - black silicone skirting and frame. Not until last month, I decided to change as I was assisting at Beuchat booth in MIDE 2008 sharing with divers about the choices of gear, I came across this mask. What the heck, why not give it a try underwater.
I got the Primo X1 which I put it to the ultimate test, low visibility dive. Definitely, I was getting more light in and feels like there was not an object attached to my face. Any shadow of fish or diver passing by my side could not escape my sense creating more awareness for me of my environment. The low volume single lens designed gave me an exceptional field of vision.
As the mask was still brand new to me, the new hinged pivoting buckle system made it so easy for me to adjust the strap to my comfort. Furthermore, the double seal silicone skirt was so gentle on my face I did not feel pressure surrounding my vision which normally creates a red mark upon surfacing from a dive.
I guess you be seeing a lot of me using this mask for the next few trip. |

Another advantage would be a clearer picture of your face underwater.
