Two Wrecks 27/05/2007 |
|
It was raining heavily that morning that everyone thought the trip has been cancelled. We met at Thompson Corner and was contemplating to go or not to go. Finally, we decided make up our mine once we reach the jetty but by then, the rain had ease off.
We did 2 wrecks on the that day with minimum sunlight available but the vis was quite good to our surprise. |

The marine life at Japanese Wreck was better than we expected. We saw barracudas and lots of yellow tail but not many Angelfish compared to a few weeks ago.
We tried a ‘mild’ wreck penetration this dive and only the experienced divers are allowed while the rest had to swim over the structure. It was kind of fun. |

Schools of batfish and rabbitfish were clouding China Wreck as we descend. The scorpionfish at the bridge was still around. Collin spotted a new resident living inside the fish net, a filefish. |
