Photo-Shoot-Out Series 2

Reef Dive at Sematan (April 2007)

For our second series of Photo-Shoot-Out (PSO), Sematan was our destination as it has great coral reefs with good visibility. The site we went was a site no many people knew about which was the Reef Ball before proceeding to Talang Island for lunch and our second dive. The Reef Ball was a good place for photographing marine fishes while the island is great for corals and macro.

Participating in the PSO were  Wesley, Mick & Sharon Brown (UK), Jackson Lee, Sofian, Freda, Whei Shing and Merit Raju (Astonia).

Group photo and you can tell from our facial expression how good was the dives.

It was nice for Merit to join our dive on that day.

Sharon is definitely a happy diver.

Diving on these reefs were just amazing and adding value to the trip, we have divers with both land and underwater cameras.

I was with my old camera (Canon Powershot A80), Wesley (Canon Powershot A620), Mick & Sharon (Sony DSC-N1), Jackson (Sony DSC-T1), Sofian (Canon Powershot A640), Freda (Nikon D40) and Whei Shing (Canon Powershot A540).

It was a good trip for everyone as we now know more about the dive sites around us and at the same time, improve our photography skill.
